Say as a courier, etc. I'm not sure if it's over 21 or 25.
My brother is thinking about it but he's only 20 at the moment.

It depends on what insurance the company has got as some stipulate no drivers under 21 and others none under 25.

If it's for a job where he would be self employed he'd find it hard to find insurance that would cover him for business purposes if he's under 25.

Most firms will only employ over 21 drivers. Of course it depends on the size of vehicle. If he only wants to drive a small van or car, he may only need to be 18 with a clean licence.

Over 18 with a clean license !
some firms may prefer an older ,
more experienced drive,
for insurance purposes

at 20 , he should be considered as experienced ,
unless he has some driving offences logged against him .

I hope he gets the job he wants soon
Good luck

.normally insurance will dictate the age restriction....dependant on who the firm is insured with it could be anywhere between 21 to 25 speaking as an experienced professional driver of 32 years .

I hope this helps, but I don't know for sure . Most driving jobs need cdl liscense to drive, but not all . In order to get a cdl you must be 21 or over, and its a hard test. And you must have good driving record too.
