If you start a new pack right at the end of the old pack rather than taking the "fake" pills there's a chance you could skip a period. I had talked to my doctor about doing that same thing on purpose to avoid a period for a certain month (it didn't work for me). I don't think online pharmacies are any better/worse than regular pharmacies as long as they're not off-the-wall foreign pharmacies overseas where the drugs could be questionable.

If the bleeding and cramping aren't normal for you then I'd go to the doctor for it. I've been on birth control since I was 18 and I'm 31 now and have never had a problem like that. I've had longer than normal periods but it was fixed by switching doses of hormones in other kinds of pills. I've never had any cramping though, even before starting on the pill. If it had been a longer than normal period I wouldn't think too much of it but along with cramping I'd get in to see the doctor.

If you are in a lot of pain, its probably a good idea to see a doctor. Your reproductive health is important.
