i turned it on full blast and then it doesnt want to turn back off!!!

i turned on the cold at full blast.. to turn it off (according to my mother) just push down on the hot knob.. thank goodness for moms!

I have one of those sinks...and visitors thinks it is broken, because they cannot figure out how to turn it on!
