equation for slope....( Y2 - Y1) / ( X2 - X1) ....
PICK POINTS 1 & 2
1 = (2,0) .. 2= (-1,9) = (9-0) / (-1 - 2) = 9 / -3 = -3
SO ..SOLPE = -3 (M=(-3))
Y INTERCEPT .... (IF X VALUE OF -1 =9 (PT.#2) THEN SUBTRACT ONE FROM X ...ADD 3 TO Y (SLOPE OF -3 SAYS WHEN YOU ADD 1 TO X, SUBRTACT 3 FROM Y ...or when you subtract 1 from x, add 3 to Y)
9 - 3 = 6 (b=6)
standard form = y = mX + b ...... y = -3x +6

use the following equations
y-y=m(x-x), m= y-y/x-x so
9-0/-1-2
m=9/-3=-3
y-0=-3(x-2)
y=-3x+6

m = (9-0)/(-1-2) = -3
y = -3x+c
Using (2,0), 0 = -3(2) +c
c=6
Therefore, y = -3x +6

equation=y-y1/y2-y1=x-x1/x2-x1
y-9/0-9=x+1/2+1
3(y-9)=-9(x+1)
y-9=-3x-3
y=-3x+6
