An annotated bibliography is one where you comment about the central idea of the work cited, the authority/background of the authors, the intended audience, and how this particular book/article/whatever was helpful in your research.

http://www.library.cornell.edu/olinuris/ref/research/skill28.htm has a very good discussion of annotated bibliographies, along with example citations.

An annotated bibliography is an alphabetical listing of the books, articles, resources, websites, etc. you used for your research paper. You have to write a short description of each of them, explaining the relevance, accuracy, quality, etc. of each source you used.

These sites should help you. Best of luck with your paper.

An annotated bibliography contains a brief narrative summary of the information found in the reference along with the usual bibliographic information.
