I recently upgraded to a New 2 year agreement with verizon. I was eligible for a $100 credit for a new phone. I got the Chocolate phone. I didn't really need a fancy phone so I sold it on Ebay for $350. If I cancel my service with verizon, do I need to give them back the Chocolate phone (I ended up paying 50 for the phone and 30 dollars for taxes)?
I know I will have to pay the $175 termination fee.
thanks.

The phone is yours to keep.

However...

If you got the Chocolate as part of your New Every Two and didn't activate/program it within 30 days of receiving it, aren't you supposed to pay for the full price of the phone? So, some or all of that $350 you got for selling it on eBay will get wiped out when VZW realizes that the phone was never activated.

Ask them. Don't forget the phone probably cost $300 and you were given a discount for the contract. Maybe the termination fee covers the difference.
