Many great scientists and thinkers turned vegetarian later in their lifes. einstein, Leonardo da Vinci, etc. Ignorance is one thing, but once you know what goes on in factory farms and how animals are tortured and abuse for the pleasure of eating a burger. Is it evil to eat meat once you know the truth about what animals go through in factory farms?

Personally I know what you are saying. It does seem so cruel. But, to kill an animal for food is really OK. I think God knew this as well because in the old testament he gave us the kinds of meat that was clean and unclean for us. When Jesus walked this earth he ate Fish. We know this to. Protein is a must in our diets. Maybe if we had been born perfect like it was mean to be, then we would all be vegitarians. but, it's just not that way now. I personally would rather eat all vegatables and fruits, given the choice. But I to, eat meat. It's different when someone like these people that go out and kill an animal, leave it laying to rot, and kill a animal for it's skin, or it's rare meat. This is wrong. It's also wrong to torture an animal for it's meat. Over all I'd rather to eat Vegatables and Fruits. I think it's healthier and cleaner. Period!

Not all animals are abused / tortured and some have much better lives (albeit short ones) than some humans have. And evil doesn't come from eating meat, it comes from the person themselves. And many turn into vegetarian's because they believe it's better for them personally or by doctor's advice, not because of animal handling on farms.

OK. I'll try to make my answer different lol...

You definitely need a girlfriend to understand if it's evil to eat meat, Mr. Ineedagirlfriend. Once you begin eating "meat", that's when you become evil. Indeed, you'll become very, very evil... yet your girlfriend will love you even more everytime you eat her bacon strip. Bacon strip is meat, is it not? The only difference is you can't literally digest it... but you can lap it. LMAO!

Those men you mentioned lived in a time when government regulations did not adhere to humane slaughter. Today these animals are rendered incapacitated immediately. Powerful blows to the head for cows results into instant death. Then the carcus can be slaughtered for its valued beef. Remember, everything from a cows body is used in one way or another. Find out for yourself.

Don't buy from bulk suppliers, then. Go to the country and buy your meat from a local farm.

FYI... Vegetables are alive too, they're just easier to catch. Have you seen them harvested with those big cutters?! Torture!

Evillness is judged by what we do, what we say, who we are to others, by our thoughts not because we eat meat, unless the meat happens to be another human
