Green Day, Fallout Boy, Panic At The Disco are power pop, not punk. Punk bands are The Ramones, Sex Pistols, The Clash.
Btw, I mostly listen to rock n' roll and tried to listen to everything except rap/hiphop.

I'm into pretty much everything except Commercial Country (which is bloodless pop with a speech impediment) and Opera (I just can't follow the plot 'cause I don't speak Italian)
