I have this song on a mix tape. I have no idea who sings it, all I know are the words. Is there anyway I could find out who this is with the words alone?

Put the words in quotes and add the word lyrics to your search and you will fine it.

Example yahoo search:

"this is a crappy song from a mix tape" lyrics.

or

"if I leave you tomorrow" lyrics

I actually find I have decent luck with that just using a regular search engine. Make *very* sure to enclose all the words in quotation marks, though, to force the engine to search for that particular phrase.

I usually will type a collection of lyrics that are likely to be unique to a song, then search on that. For example, if I was looking for 'Six in the Morning' by Ice-T, I would google Six in the morning Police at my door fresh adidas squeak across the bathroom floor" Then it would likely give me 'Ice-T' as an answer.

Place a few words of the song in yahoo or google.com it will most likely come up with some links for you. Good luck ! :)
