You can do it like they used to before the internet. Just go to your yellow pages and open an account with any local broker. From there, you'll be able to do trades over the phone as they have for years.
However, be prepared. Whilst, online brokers continue to pressure other channels for trading, the full service brokers typically will still charge you an arm and a leg to transact business! This can add up to a LOT of unneccesary cost in making your trades. Sure you can still use a discount broker like Schwab, and that'll help.
But the cheapest/most efficient way to trade nowadays is via the internet. You not only save a bundle of $$, but can often get your order filled w/in seconds of placing your order. Additionally, many of the online brokerages will allow you to call in your order if you want as well!
So to answer your question, yes, you can trade w/o an online A/C. Just be aware of the pros/cons. It's completely your choice.

Come on man.It is very easy.Just open a account with reputed Broker locally.Open a demat and trading account with him.If your daily turnover is more than 1 lac or you want to trade in F&O, then you also require PAN card. Buy share on telephone,make payment and immediately transfer those shares in your demat account for safety.

These are know as Offline A/C. Here, you may personally visit the branch/franchisee of broker or trade via phone. This is the age old system.
