my son is mixed.. black and white.. i betta never find out somebody doesnt like him because of who his mama and daddy are.. if i find out somebody doesnt like him.. it betta be because ike turner is his grandpa, or because he has a spoiled rotten bad boy attitude... but it better never be because he is mixted.. im sorry people are so ignorant.. keep smilin mama your beautiful.

People who are uncomfortable about themselves will always be uncomfortable around people who are different from themselves. There is no need to worry about those folks - they have issues. As long as you know who you are and accept yourself, then "those people" have no influence over you. Brush them off the way you would an annoying fly buzzing around you.
Now if what you want is to understand why they can't accept you, then there are theories. My favorite is that they are more uncomfortable with your parents than with you. Mixed couples have a horrendous time being accepted in most places. That's why you tend to see mixed couples clumping into areas where they can be accepted. Children from these couples are loved and nurtured at home and usually in their home communities, but as soon as you get out on your own - BAM.
Discrimination is a hurtful, hateful state of being. You aren't the first to be stung by it, and you won't be the last. But hang in there - there are lots and lots of bi racial folks thriving. More and more every day, in fact. Soon it will be the norm rather than the topic of conversation. Separate yourself from people who are are that insecure and you will find the world is yours to have.
Remember that you are strong and wonderful. Rise above the ignorant. They are the minority.

Its alot more accepted than it was back in the days.. Its still an issue tho. Maybs its Just some thing we have to accept.. small minded people thats all
