Try Nero Burning ROM 7.0+
you can download the tral version from http://www.nero.com
(Cr**ks also can be found on the net to upgrade to the full version)

Nero has a sub program call Nero Vision which u can used to convert any video file to a DVD VIDEO/ DVD Editable Vidio. you just have to drag and drop files. ill also create menus, chapers using the wizad. it also contains some advance options such as bit rate selections, simple video editing etc

It's more then possible. To burn .mpeg to dvd is not a good idea tho. Mpeg files aren't good compression. When you use a burning program there are 3 main types of programs that you want you use on a dvd so you get the best play back. To me the best file(that will play back on your dvd player) is a .vob file. There are some programs that allow you to make .vob files. If you have ever put a video inside your computer and went to explore what's on the disk. You should see a folder called "video_ts". This is the folder that holds the .vob files (which is you moves). There are a few programs that i have used my self and have helped family and friends out with; such as. Nero, Ashampoo movie and strink, Cheetah dvd burner, Record now, and also one right on your computer windows movie maker.

Not without converting them first. Use a program like Nero Burning ROM or WInDVD Creator.

You can also use the links below to read up on how to convert files using free software on the 'net.

You can use the second link below and click on the players list (left menu) to see if you DVD player will play raw mpeg files.

It will work on the dvd player if the dvd player accepts mpegs. Otherwise, you need special software to convert your mpeg to dvd format.

Good luck.

Presuming your DVD player can play VCD's (video CD's) no conversion is necessary. The formats are identical.

Just burn a video CD using Nero with your data file. This means only a CD is required instead of a DVD and is thus cheaper.

Depending on what windows os your using, windows has a convert/burn feature built in. Just insert blank dvd into drive and select create dvd. Follow prompts and your good to go. Vista and 7 have this feature.
