What do the tamahawks on the helmets of FSU players represent?

Some school use them some do not. The way they are given out is also different for each school take Georgia they have dog bones black and white. One color is for on the field the other is for academics. Some schools will have a point system where the more points to get the more decals you get for your helmet. Often these points will be awarded for special performances.( Great Catch, Block, Run, Interception......) I do not know the details as the how Bobby B runs his point system however.

They are not tamahawks they are arrows and Florida State University is know as The Seminoles thats why they have arrows on their helmets

Its like the leaf on the buckeyes helmets...if you do something decent in the game, they coach will give you a sticker....things like a big hit, key play,...thats why the better players have more stickers.
