I think Christians use the name Beelzebub as an alternative for Satan, but Beelzebub is originally a pagan deity.
It is translated either as 'Lord of Zebûb' or as 'Lord of things that fly' .
I think the later is pretty cool and less scary that "Satan",
I choose Beelzebub!

if I was referring to the supreme evil one of this atmosphere, I would more than likely say satan or the devil. beelzebub and lucifer have too many syllables or something. they just don't roll off the tongue as easy.

The personification of evil of earth...the figure of all hate in mankinds eyes, the very seething fury of the races made flesh..
Or Binky to his friends
Aiiiii, he's alright, but a bit of a handful when he is drunk.

Satan.
Reason? Fewer syllables.
When catching your fingers in the refrigerator door, screaming "SATAN'S BALLS!" works so much better than "BEELZEBUB'S BALLS!" despite the lovely alliteration.
Try it.
