I guess for the same reason atheists post in 'religion'. Why are you there, if you don't believe in religion? Some people just think they are right...even on things that can't be proven...that being said, I believe in evolution, but I can't 'prove' it.

Because that way they can just label us all a bunch of nuts, and thus disregard anything we say. This is their method of argument - label, deride, ignore. Don't confuse them with facts, logic or reason.
