My body requires 7-9 hours a night to sleep. For me if I don't get the amount of sleep I need, I am very irritable and unable to function fully.
Generally I get about 8 hours of sleep every night.
I go to bed around the same time every night and get up every morning around the same time. There is a difference if I break the cycle, I've noticed.

I need 7 hours in order to function well the next day. I can get by on less, but I'm not running on all 8 cylinders if I do.

by the way you should sleep 8 hours not less and not over to be in your next day active and fresh and i have an advice for you to sleep and to get over the insomnia just hear something you love like kora2n or any thing that relief you , turn off lamps beside you and close your eyes and dream of things you want in that time you will have --------a healty sleep

Anywhere from 4 to 10.... depends on if I have anything to do the next day.
Once I only slept 2 hours and woke up feeling like I had slept forever..... it was weird.
