It is neither moral or immoral itself rather morality is based on the manipulation, or use and earn. If it for the social purpose and livelihood, it is good and it is earned by cheating or smugling it is immoral. On the otherhand, if you spends money for the luxerous life style without addressing hunger, and starvation, and disease, that is too much immoral.

Money is very moral especially as you need it for transaction purposes. Remember money in itself is useless (valuless). It's value depends on what it can buy or provide for the owner.

Money gotten or obtained in a decent way is very moral. However, it becomes immoral when obtained in an illegal or through dubious means.

Money is neither, it is just a token to be used for the exchange of goods and services. Acquiring wealth (always at the expense of others) is immoral, profit and profit-seeking activities should be outlawed.
