You are sexually attracted to the same gender. That makes you gay.
And not just in a "I wonder what" kinda way, in the "I don't find the opposite sex attractive and I do find the same sex attractive" way.

I am not sure that anything actually 'makes' a person gay. It is my personal belief that you are born that way, with an attraction to the same sex. This may not become apparent until puberty, to the individual. I am a gay man, and If I remember my childhood, I can only now realise that I was always attracted to men. When I was young, I didn't understand what sexual attraction was.

Nothing makes them gay they are born like that just like a heterosexual person.
but it hasn't been prov en if it a genetic thing or hormonal.
some people can be attracted to both men and women but when you are just attracted to the same gender this is when you know. They say that most people know from as young as 12 a lot of gay people I know knew from they were young.

It's more than just physical attraction, it's about love of the same sex as well. Poeple seem to assume that if you like it up the ****, then that makes you gay, but it doesn't. There is more to it than simple sex.

When a person has attraction to the opposite sex emotionally and physically. Its a desire, a hunger, the same for an heterosexual.

Genes and hormones ... there's nothing you can do about it!
If your body says it likes someone of the same sex more than someone of the opposite sex, you have to go with it....
