The name is spelled "Annushka". It is a diminutive form (or 'pet name') of the given name "Anna"

Anna is borrowed into Russian (and many other languages) from the original Hebrew name, Hannah [חַנָּה -- the first letter [ח ] is sometimes written "ch" and is pronounced like the "ch" in Scottish "loch"], meaning "favor, grace".

Some baby name sources (which are notoriously sloppy on details) render this "favored one" --that is, they take the name as a wish/hope that God will show favor to her-- but that's not necessarily the point.

More likely it has the same idea as the fuller name "Johannah" (whence "John" and many other forms), which means "The LORD [Hebrew "Yah" for "Yahweh"] is gracious." This sort of name is a confession of the faith of the parents, and often especially that they see the birth of this child as a sign of God's showing grace TO THEM. (At the same time, giving the child these names is also meant to express the hope that this truth will be evident in the life of the child.)

One other possibility is that the name is intended to describe the hoped-for character of the child herself --that she will be a gracious person. (Feminine names in Hebrew frequently function this way.)

The most common Russian names are related to the Orthodox Christian faith and have Greek and Biblical origins. You need to research a little more about the culture you are going to borrow. You could learn a few Russian words for snow, winter and such but keep in mind they won't be traditional or actual names. The closet thing I can come up with is Natalia/Natasha, which means born on Christmas day.
