Spiders are very tough to get rid of & kill..
Spiders eat insects..
You obviously have other insects in your home...
( This does not mean you do not have a clean home )
You can call an exterminator who can install a anti-spider
system in your home...
It is a system of little tubes with nozzles that go around the eves
of your roof and the tubes are connected to a pump on a timer in a drum of poison...Every evening the pump sprays a bit of poison around your house....It is not cheap but probably the only to way to really get them away from your home....Otherwise, just spray inside the house every few weeks...

I do not know if we have good spiders or bad, but we did find some black widows. I was bit by a brown recluse. My husband sprays all around the house and out about 20 feet and he offered to spray in the house but we do not seem to need it once we sprayed the yard. We have ticks and chiggers in the yard and have taken to spraying most of the yard and the lower branches of the trees. Had tick droop off the branches. We ordered a garlic spray from on line and it did the job and does not poison the animals or pollute the water. The odor quickly evaporates.

Some spiders are house spiders, they want to be in the house. Or the garage. You can't really keep them out, although there are products that allegedly use ultrasound to deter them. www.iwoot.com do a spider catcher that you can pick the little guys up with. Personally, I don't mind them. Once they get fist sized though, they've got to take their chances outside!

Leave them alone!. Spiders do a lot of good and they do not attack humans, crawl over you when you are asleep, or lay eggs in your ears. When you are sat on the sofa and a huge, black, hairy legged spider is running towards you, it is going for the shadows under the seat, not you!. Try putting a jam jar lid of water behind the bathroom sink, keep it topped water, and you should not get any spiders in the bath. What would you rather have, cockroaches, flies, woodlice, girlfriends.......

Try using a powder such as borax or chalk around the doorways and windows that lead into the House. A lot of insects will not cross these barriers. Spiders are not insects, but arachnids, so call your local county extension service and ask them. They will be in the govt section of your phone book.

Spiders are not bad. They're good. They keep other insects away. There are "bad" spiders that can hurt you but most of them are harmless.

You have 2 options -
1. seal up all the doors and windows and never leave the house so they can't get in
2. move to Antarctica
Only take option 2 if you don't mind penguins in your house
