Crocodile hunter Steve Irwin pulled the barb of a bull stingray out of his chest with his hands moments before succumbing to the deadly blow, video footage of the accident showed today.
His producer and close friend, John Stainton, who viewed the film before handing it over to police, said the images were shocking. "It's a very hard thing to watch because you're actually witnessing somebody die and it's terrible," he said.

"It shows that Steve came over the top of the ray and the tail came up and spiked him here [in the chest] and he pulled it out and the next minute he's gone. That was it - the cameraman had to shut down."

On the contrary I think it will eventually be released and I think he would want it seen so that we could learn from his death. My online friends in austrailia said it was on the new there.

YOU WILL NOT FIND A VIDEO OF HIS DEATH,
His best friend handed it over to police, for investigation, they have it now, It will be released back to his family, and i don't believe that they will chose for others to see it,
The guy was impaled with the barb, he pulled the barb out his heart, blood filled the water, and he died, thats all you need to know, you ought to be ashamed of youself,

THIS IS TRAGEDY, NOT A REASON FOR ENTERTAINMENT!!

Think of his kids and family, friends and co workers, let the guy go with respect, Instead of getting hits on youtube, with comments like.. That was cool!!...
Godsake, grow up

Are you nuts!? They will never release that video to anyone. The police have the tape and it will be destroyed after this is all over with. Why would you even want to see such an awful thing?

It probably will not be released to the public unless his family agrees to it for some reason. Why would you want to see it? Apparently the stinray hit him in the chest and within a few minutes he passed away. I am saddened by his passing.

Long live his wildlife preservation efforts!

If you really feel so inclined to see others tragic misfortune, then rather than being totally insensitive to his family, co-workers and friends, they have a web site just for this type of obession with the morbid. Enjoy!

You need a smack on the head! You obviously have no respect for the dead. Get a life.
