I have had incredibly bad service. I actually had a waitress in a diner, come by and ask me if I had ordered the extra home fries that were on my table. I told her no, and she picked them up and delivered them from my table to the next table over. Needless to say, the people at the other table and I asked to speak with the manager.
Calling on the cell phone though, funny.

Wow, that is bad. I had something similar happen where we couldn't get anyone to talk to regarding the poor service. It was so bad after we finally got the bill and paid it, we left without tipping.
Well, being so wound up at the poor service we forgot an item at the table and the waitress came running out to tell us about it. It was our newly purchased wedding band. We ended up leaving a tip. Ohh, the irony.
P.S. Nice avatar!

Your partly right, it does come all the way down to money. McDonald's is hiring childrens at minimum salary (or close to to it), a number of those are human beings have not matured and characteristic no longer taken satisfaction in what they do. McDonald's, with the intention to furnish affordability seems to have sacrificed shopper provider standards. i've got self assurance that they are going to hire particularly plenty anybody off the line (meaning decrease standards for his or her workforce). in case you ever get the prospect, please bypass to a chick-fil-a speedy nutrition place. i've got not got any involvement with them yet I actual have taken observe to their superb provider. this is the little issues, smiling, no longer giving the shopper approach whilst there is a few thing incorrect with an order, sparkling ecosystem, and basically being concerned. a competent eating place can demonstrate skill applicants personalities and create a set of workers that are superb. for sure the McDonald's which you have visited does not.

I have spoken with the manager in person, he was very kind, and
did not charge for the meal.
The restaurants really do want happy customers.
Properly state your unhappiness, and they are happy to correct it.
good luck

I haven't called the manager, but I've gotten up and gone to speak to many managers in many stores.

I usually go home and email them on their website. I usually end up with an apology and a coupon.
