Depends on if they are ready to change. I am a recovering drug addict with 2 1/2 years clean. While I was using I for sure couldn't be trusted but now that i am clean it's different. People can change but only if they want to. You can't change them that's for sure. You also can't jusge people for their past. If they have changed and proven themselves you should trust them. It means a lot to them when you can do that.

it all depends on the person...for some prison really changes a person...and for others it does nothing but brew anger. also the drunk all depends on the person...are they sober now? did they lie about being an alcoholic? do they still do crack...or did they stop because they knew it was wrong? did they confess to cheating, or did they get caught? all this makes a difference...and it is your ultimate decision whether they can be trusted...i can't decide over the internet whether someone is truthful.

yes a person can change sometimes bad experiences has to happen to a person so they can sit down and analyze there life some people in jail find religion because there are people who minster to them .And there are others who just find themselves people have the right to rebuild there life. By being around that person you should be able to tell a difference in there ways then only you can say for yourself can this person be trusted or not sometimes we have to forgive and give people the benefit of doubt.

HELL NO!!!!!!! If a person is a liar and a cheater, they will continue to be. And prison will make it worse, because they become a way different person in there. Look up PTSD on the web. It's the norm after that long in the joint.

No i don't think 8yrs in prison will change them. It might have made them stop for 8yrs, but when they get out and it won't be long I think before they go right back to it, mainly because they will go right back to the people they know who did the same things with him.

Girl it is possible, but people are not going to change unless the really have the desire to. Most people who goes to jail won't comw out and change unless the honestly and truly found god and seen the light other wise they will come out and act the same way.
