I fell for a British fellow that I met on-line five years ago...about a year after my divorce. I fell like a ton of bricks. He lied to me throughout the relationship and ended up running off with another woman he met on-line. There is rarely a day that I don't think about him and I think most of my relationships since then have been doomed because I compare all of them to him...and no one since him has been able to make me laugh the way he did. There is part of me that wishes I never met him because if not for him, I'd probably still be with one of the other fellows I've dated but found lacking when I compared them to him.
