We deleted temp files and cookies and ran adware and the anti-virus scan which showed no adware or virus.

These sites learn your email from various sources. You must have entered your email in some other site not necessarily a sex site. Everyone nowadays gets junk mail. Noone is spared. I get emails regarding viagra pills, bank accounts, sex etc. Some of them can be unsubscribed to. If you check the email, you might see an "Unsubscribe" link or something like "If you do not want to recieve any more emails please click here". Some of them... sorry to say, nothing can be done. You will just have to recieve them everyday and delete them. Just make sure you don't open any attachments from any email address you are not familiar with. They contain worms or spyware which sends out information such as your email address etc without your knowledge.

If your fiance has an email account, its surprising that he's not getting the same emails. I usually find that they're spam. Most of them are not actually addressed to me. If your email program has some sort of spam blocker, make sure you use it. 90% of my email goes into the spam folder where it belongs. Don't respond to the emails. If it has a link to click to stop the emails and you actually reach it, they take your email address and sell it to more spammers, since you've proved the existance of the address. The mail cannot be stopped but I think you should check your fiance's email if you haven't :)

I'm in the same boat. Just don't open emails from people you don't know, just send them straight to spam. My fiance and I just joke about how sad those women are. Don't let it get to you. People can buy your email address somehow. I also get a lot of the "Your unlce did in Africa, so give me your bank account number so I can put the money in your account" email.

There is the possibility that your computer may have spyware, or a tracking cookie which transmits your browser history to different agencies. I would recommend downloading Spybot S&D and possibly get a firewall for your computer.
If the Emails persist, Perhaps you need to call the company.

I had the same thing on my email. They post their name on the sender box. And on the message place it will read Hi how are you doing? Then when you open it up it says its a porn site.
