When the best time to visit Quebec to catch the beautiful colors of the Fall season? Also any recommendations on where to stay and tours to take?

If you want the full fall colors, come no later than the second week of October. Last week of September and first week of October usually look the best. Here in Quebec City, leaves have already started changing colors.
Lots of things to do during the fall to appreciate these fall colors. I suggest you go hiking, there are a lot of great hiking trails in Quebec City. See the links below.

My dad takes his visitors up to Mount Tremblant for the fall colours...although his brothers don't appreciate it that much, being colour-blind.
