Yeah i would really get that checked cause after having a baby if your uters doesnt do what it is suppost to it can cause hemorages. I would at least make a trip to the dr it is well worth it cause if nothing else you need to find out why you have been bleeding for so long. Hormones do crazy things after you have a baby i would get it checked cause you dont want it to go to long cause it could cause more damage than it may have already.

With my first child I bleed for a month and then like two days later I started bleeding again for 2 more weeks and with my second child it was 3 weeks. I wouldn't worry too much about it. I have talked to alot of people who have had kids and their periods lasted up to 6 weeks after the baby was born also. If you are still worried about it then you should go to the doctor or mention it when you have your 6 week checkup but then again they will tell you if everything has healed the way it was supposed to.

The average time you bleed after delivery is 6 weeks some women may bleed for more or less.... If you are having large clots that would be a good reason to go to the ER immediately... If you have stopped bleeding after delivery and are on your normal cycle you're probably fine it can take a few months for your period to regulate.... If you are worried you could always call your doctor and ask... It never hurts to ask if you're worried... Good luck...

This is normal, it is just your body cleaning itself out. It is normal to bleed for up to six weeks after a baby. Dont be alarmed that it hasnt stopped after that, not all women are the same. If you are really worried take some female herbs and try to help you body accomplish what it is trying to do. If you go onto herbdoc.com to call 1-800-HERBDOC you can get free advise and they will tell you the right herbs to take.

The first period after baby can be really bad. Are you going through more than 1 pad an hour? I have always heard that as a rule if you are to go to the ER. Hope that helps.

Did you have a c~section? Vaginal birth? There are lots of things that can contribute. Don't be afraid of calling your Dr. that is why they are there. Better to call and have it be nothing than have a "wait and see" attitude.
Your body is going through many changes and you need to make sure you are relaxed and calm about what is going on. Can't take care of yourself and enjoy the little bundle when you are worried. Best of luck and Congratulations on the BABY :)

Sweetie,It could be a number of things. If your baby is no older than u say then it could be related with that but really the best thing to do is call your doc office and speak with them and just ask them if they feel its is necessary to come in.It is better to be safe than to feel or worry about asking a stupid question at specially with something like that can be very serious.Good luck

Well, if your child is only 34 days old, I wouldn't worry quite yet. Your supposed to have your period for about 6 weeks after you give birth. Give it a little more time and see what happens.

Hmmm.......This could be normal post bleeding. However, it could also be something more serious like a cyst. Are you cramping very bad as well? I would make an appointment with my Doctor. You have to listen to your body. If something is abnormal it's your body's way of letting you know everything isn't cool. Also a lot of "girl problems" can be taken care of if you treat them fast enough but left alone they can cause major problems for you.
