OK here is the deal. I have been with the same guy for 10 years. We have 4 kids to gether. We are high school sweethearts. We have been toerther since we have been 16. Last year we had aminor split and We both dated other people. Well my ex is the best guy ever. Just so sweet and loving. But I chose my bf and went back to him. I think about the ex alot and wonder if I should chose him or tell him how i feel. My current bf, I found has been talking to other girls and wanted to "hook up" with afew of them. Not sure what to do???

Neither, you been there done both and neither of them did it for you. You can love and respect someone without ever being in love with them. You are, however, carrying just a bit of baggage(4 kids is quite a bit), but that does not mean there is not someone out there that can fulfill all your needs. He is out there, might take a bit, but carrying on with the wrong man will never allow you to meet this right one. Take control of your life, enjoy your kids and raise them right and I am sure that you will be able to find a guy thats just right.

If the ex is "the best guy ever", why not go with him? But then, he's an ex for a reason, and the same things came between you the first time would probably cause you to split up again. One thing is for certain, if you stay with the guy who's looking to "hook up" with other women, you're wasting your time. How about the "none of the above" solution - just continue looking for a compatible guy who will treat you respectfully.

sounds like bf feels he is going 2 b out of your life due 2 ex. with 4 kids u should get back with him if he's all u say he is. bf can feel this in u & is feeling out other women when u kick him 2 the curb. bf needs a woman that will not play with his life. a woman that is true, not phony as u seem 2 b. by that i mean...1 with no extra baggage. none of this...i love u, i love him, ilove u bull crap. u r not being fair 2 him. nor 2 yourself or your ex. make a decision soon...put someone out of their misery.

you have not had time to be on your own--to explore yourself, to figure out who you are w/out a man. how can you become so intensely involved at 16? I say you need time off from men to look at your life and decided what your priorities are. What are you doing about the children? You should put their needs before yours. The story is complicating and confusing! Time will mature you and the men--my advise is discover what your passions are and concentrate on the children.
