yes i would. me and my father have done this behind my mums back as we talked there was too many inconsistencies with my mums story even though she had always said he was my real father. turns out she was telling the truth all along and i felt awfully guilty in doubting her but now we both know the truth we r more relaxed around each other as its not hanging over our heads anymore.

Yes I would only because when I was 18 I ended up pregnant by the man I was in a relationship with for 7 months. When I told him he decided to give me a ultimatum and of course I chose my child. I ended up getting married before my son was born and moved to Vermont. Vermont law is if you are married when you give birth whether or not if the man you are married to is that child's father they have him on birth certificate as father. I have found my son's biologically father after 16 years and since then my son is living somewhere else. I want to be able to throw it in this guys face that he is his father and give my son the piece of mind because he knows that the man's name that is on his birth certificate is not his dad. Does anyone know how I can get a hold of my son's DNA for this test?

oh my god that is disgusting...i will never understand a woman who denies the child the right to know there birth father and i will never understand a man who is so suspicious he would even consider home dna testing.

what about the kids feelings in all this??

Yes for sure. I would find out if these 4 kids who called me mum were really mine then when they returned home with all their problems I could say Im not your real mum so dont ask me.

Wel they could have been swapped in hospital , couldn't they ?

You just said they were your kids, you should think of them and all the repercussions of doing that before you do. These are children who lives WILL be damaged just to prove that something might be right or wrong. Think about this first.

No. They are my kids no matter what.

Even if my wife had had some sort of outside assistance so to speak, I couldn't have done better.

Its not broken so dont fix it

Why? If I trust my spouse, I would have no reason to. And if I wasn't entirely sure about her, I wouldn't get married in the first place.
