Open Yahoo messenger chat message, in the middle of the window, you should see all the ID's you have associated with the Yahoo ID you have signed in as (there is something called "Send As")
When sending the message, change the Send As ID to the other ID and send the message.
The catch is that the ID you are trying to use must be associated but if you are trying to use two different Yahoo ID's not associated then it cant be done.

you can. open your yahoo IM.
on your menu bar:
click Messenger
select My Profiles
click Create/Edit My Profiles
that will open a window where you can create a different yahoo IM id that is still attached to your original yahoo email account. when youre done creating the 2nd ID close and restart YIM
to send an IM with a 2ndary ID:
right click friend to send message
there will be a dropdown box near Send As:
select 2nd ID or primary ID. both can be active at the same time. you can even trick your friend if they dont know about it. just send to the same person but select different Send As IDs

I don't think its possible , it use to work with capatability to yahoo chat . You could be loged on in yahoo chat with one id and yahoo messenger with the other. Other than that theres no way that i know of .

in case you do no longer prefer to apply a talk client, you are able to log in on one identity from Firefox and log into the different Yahoo identity with IE. Yahoo does no longer enable 2 IDs to log into one browser by checking the cookie. IE and Firefox have distinctive cookies.

HELL YESSS you can and i have that software.....if u want i can mail it to yaa..................i chat with 2 ids most of the time......
