The schedule was presented to the Players' Union on July 1st, and they have until October 15th to respond with any concerns. Teams submitted their specific requests for '07 back in November of last year, and it has been worked on since before this season began.
MLB won't release an official schedule until later this year, but bits and pieces have already made it into wider release, like the Yanks-Sox matchups next season. The "official" version won't come out until this season is finished, and all the bugs have been fixed.
