I liked a guy who worked for for a supermarket like asda, although Im young , it was hes looks that got me, but one thing even I dont like him now, is he worked very hard, despite my thinking now, I can never say he not a hard worker, people have to make a living and its good if they do job, rather than doing nothing at all, and at least it is respectable, rather than clothes shop that sell dirty clothes. As a long someone respects you , respect them. Im a was student , and also looking into jobs, I had a job opportunity for a supermarket, and said no, because I was starting college, but the course didnt go so well, and then I rang back again asking about the job, it was because I didnt want to do nothing, working in these places arent so bad,try it if you want to , you can even make friends, perhaps even get free foods.

Some people suggest that respect is something you earn, personally I believe that it is something which is lost.
Start by respecting everyone, no matter what they do in life, rather then making them earn your trust. The more you get to know that person the more you can re-evaluate the respect you give them but at least you have done the right thing from the start.
Remember that you might not think that working in ASDA is a glamourous job but that person is working to pay their way in life, trying to make the best of what the world has given them, and contributing to society. Many of them could sit at home and take handouts from society almost equal to what they earn, but they have more self respect and are often trying to set the example to their kids that doing nothing isn’t right.
So in short, take that job at ASDA, smile and be helpful. Nobody will think any less of you.

It doesn't matter where a person works ... good manners and respect are always necessary when dealing with another person. I try to teach my kids that and despite the general apathy that is prevalent in this country today, I'm sure they get a far better reception for it!
You should be respectful of anyone who works for a living ... and those who sponge off the state have long since lost any respect either for them or by them ... which sounds pretty uncaring but it's just the way I see it.

Yes, and a lot more than someone who won't work, Asda is probably a good employer and the people I have seen there seem very nice.......What is your point actually?

You can respect anyone, even if their job is cleaning the toilets. The level of respect you show others is a measure of how much respect you deserve as a person.

The question is, why wouldnt you respect them? They are providing a public service. You shouldnt judge someone on where they work.
