i had a miscarriage. my hormones were going down while i was bleeding. but since the bleeding has stopped, my hormones are going back up very slowly

the miscarriage was around the 19th of aug, the bleeding stoped on the 23, but i didn't get out of the hospital until 24.on the 24 is when they did the blood test and it showed that my hormones were going up again. now they are still going up.

by hormones, are you talking about HCG? if you had a miscarriage and the HCG was going down... then it is gone. :( have you seen a doctor since the miscarriage? have they done a scan to make sure everything passed?
if HCG is now going back up, it could be possible that you are pregnant "again" - but not still. a pregnancy would not be viable if the HCG goes up - then drops regularly (miscarriage) and then goes back up again.
when i miscarried my HCG continued to go up for a few days durring bleeding - it didnt go down until i had passed everything.

Well, it depends. When did you have your miscarriage? If it was a while ago (let's say 2 weeks), your body has probably started a new 28-day period. If you had sex at this time you might be pregnant again. Please go to your doctor ASAP. The only way to know is checking you. Good luck.

After you miscarried, you should have been invited to come back couple of times (blood test), precisely to check whether your hormones are coming down. Theoretically they shouldn't be going up again. If I were you I wouldn't hang around and go back to the clinic. They will be able to help you more than us here, eh?

that sounds like me, i had a miscariage and a week later i was pregnant again. everything turned out fine that time, except my son was 10 weeks early due to an incompitant cervix. he is great now and i couldn't be happier.
i am sure a test would tell you.

No, your hormones should not go up after miscarriage. Unless, your body didn't expell all the remance, and thinks you are still pregnant.

they'll have to tell you. You should ask them why thats happening.
They should haev told you in the first place. i hate doctors, theyre a bunch of useless pigs. I cant believe we have to pay these people.
