me and my ex have been apart for 4weeks I have somethings of hers. I called her on friday and told her I would be out of town if she wanted to she could pick the rest of her things up. She called back later and left a message saying should couldn't pick them up if I wanted to calll her back I tried calling her back and it kept going to her voicemail and she has not made any attempts to call me and let me know what she wants to do with her things. I know I made her feel pretty shitty for 3months but I don't want to play games. do I wait for her to call or do I drop them off at a mutual friends house.

I appreciate the answers but one of them is her dead grandfarthers vcr and a salon sick that she uses for doing hair I don't want to throw anything out and I'm not trying to make her feel bad I am truly sorry for what happened and its like she said she is happy now.

Why don't you drop them off at her house. The mutual friend idea seems good, but it really is dragging someone else in. How about you call her up and say "Hey, I'm going to be bringing your stuff around on Thur at 5:30. If you aren't there, I'll leave it at the door. If this isn't agreeable, give me a call to make other arrangements."

Leave a message on her phone telling her that you need the items moved from your house by the end of the week and that if you dont hear from her before the week is up and make arrangements to pick them up you will be dropping them off at a ____'s house.
Try to record your message. That way if she claims something is missing or it never she never got the message you have proof. Just in case she goes physo and sue's you over something.

Box it up and send it via Post Office. Send it returned reciept requested as proof she picked it up and make sure it is insured. The post will keep it for a week or so which should give her enough time to make arrangements to pick it up and you two don't have to see each other and you can avoid the friend thing.
Or you can send it to her work if it won't get her in trouble. Assuming she didn't leave a sofa there or something else huge.
Don't send UPS as they will just leave the package at the door.

I have recently been through the same thing, I held his stuff for almost a year. I guess it depends on you, dropping it off at a mutual friends wouldn't be bad just send her a message letting her know where and she can get it at her convienance. Hope this helps!!

It may seem to her that her possessions represent the last scraps of her in your life and that you are frantically trying to get rid of them. Be calm about it but tell her she has to get her stuff. I think it is reasonable to drop the stuff off at a friend's house but I'd give her the option of picking the stuff up herself, first.

if anyperson leaves anything in a apartment for 3 months its no longer thiers. if she wanted the stuff she would of picked it up or sent a friend to do it or just told ya to drop it off. id say give her another call and tell her if she dont pick up her things youll give them to the salvation army. id say you tried your best to give her things back id say give the stuff away

If you really want to get rid of her stuff I would drop it off at a mutual friends house and get over it.

well if you've made her feel shitty for 3 months, then your probably doing exactly the same thing now, and she is probably ignoring you so you keep ringing her!!! thats what i would do !
so drop it to her friends or be a man and drop it to her

You could drop them off at a personal friend who you trust. That way you don't have to deal with her anymore.

Box them up and take them to her house. If need be, leave them at the door. Tell her you're sorry for how you treated her.
