missing run away daughter who may have met someone from myspace. I need to know how, as her mother, that I can access my minor childs webset to obtain any information.

If your daughter is missing you should contact the police and/or FBI and they will get in touch with My Space and/or Yahoo. They'll get a response a lot quicker than you will.

First, contact your local law enforcement. Even if she has only been missing for less than 12 hours make sure they have a report documented.
Second, Myspace and yahoo is not a in sync business they are two really different sites. Now if you are trying to get in to her email so that you can see the notifications on her myspace account then you will also have to have her myspace address.
Third, for future reference share this information with your child, be open t her age, believe me just because we are older and we never experienced these issues when "we" was younger does not mean that they are out of the ordinary. Be open to what things are going on with the style of the young and you will progress with her through her problems.

You need to contact Law enforcement so they can find out what is going on. only way to get access to those kinds of records is legally.. They can come in and get access to that information ...
You would be in a crinimal act getting access to information like that ..
Hope you will call Police and go from there. they will do it much faster than you can .. By asking for help here.

MySpace and Yahoo are not related. MySpace is owned by Fox. Perhaps try them

well firstly i wouid go to the police tho that may take some time...secondly i would call a directory and ask for yahoo's number, which would be prob listed at the bottom of the main page "yahoo inc" ask for that...or go on the 'contact us' website and email someone...i think your best chances are to try and call...i dunno about yahoo owning myspace...you could do the same in reguards to phone numbers... try and call the police first then try and recieve the fone number...

Myspace isn't owned by Yahoo! It is owned by Newscorp Group.
But i agree with others you need to escalate to the police.

Go to myspace.com and click on the contact link at the bottom. Hopefully someone will be able to help you further. And contact your local police.
