Lately for me, Diana Krall.... she's a jazz pianist/singer/songwriter who has 2 dvd's out there.... 1 of classic jazz from Paris in '00 and another w/ more contemporary jazz from the Montreal Jazz Festival a few yrs back in '04. Both are amazing.

Rita Chiarelli..Canadian..does blues, Italian, and much more..kind of along the line of Bonnie Raitt but with a lot more spunk in her voice! Love her.
