You have to get your thyroid under control, try looking on the web for a diet to help supplement your thyroid function. Take medication as prescribed, and get levels of your thyroid as often as you can to make sure the levels are improving. Try to have your hair cut in a way that takes little effort. Less blow drying, curling and pulling. Avoid clips, rubber bands and tight hats. It will be worth the money to find a really good hairdresser/stylist. They can do wonders with the right cut.

I've had thyroid problems for years and as I get older my hair gets thinner. I take thyroid-replacement and that helps (synthroid). I also have a short haircut and keep it sort of spikey by using a soybean pomade. That helps it to look more modern and covers alot of scalp. I doesn't look masculine because I wear feminine earrings and makeup. I find a short 'do" is easier to keep up without damaging it with hot rollers or combs; sometimes I blow dry it. I do color my hair (permanent color gives it body and volume); but I don't wash it but only once a week. With coloring, I'm very careful; I color all of my hair one month and then just low light/or highlight the next. It gives it a natural look and keeps the damage low. There are also 'volumizers' on the market and on QVC/HSN that work well. Hope something works for you. I don't know of any homeopathic treatments except clear Henna. That will make your hair thicker. Godloveya!
