In A Walk To Remember (the movie,) who is the lady who opens the door for Landon when he goes to visit the Reverend, at the end of the movie? Is she a housekeeper, or has Jamie's father re-married?

By the way, what a beautiful movie! I cried halfway through it, and I know the book was probably just as good. After all, it's Nicholas Sparks.

Princecutesmile, yes I saw The Notebook. But your right, the book was way better. It was almost exactly the same, but it was maybe because I knew what was coming that I didn't enjoy the movie as much as the book.

It was the housekeeper. I don't think after having read the book and watched the movie that Rev could really get remarried. I mean after all he lost his daughter and his wife. I think he was pretty content with things.

Hi, I guess it's a maid. No i don't think he re-married, but maybe the answer is in the book. I never read the book and yes it was a great movie, but The Notebook beats a Walk To remeber. I love that movie and I heard teh book was even better!! Go rent The Notebook right now. You will not regret it!!

Pretty sure it's a housekeeper. She doesn't yell for the reverend from another room, but goes to the room he's in because her job requires the best of manners and no familiar behaviour with her employer.
