Some viruses will interfere with antivirus software installing. Start you computer in safe mode then try installing McAfee. (To start in safe mode: restart your computer and start pressing F8 as soon as the power comes on. When you get to the start up menu select Safe Mode.)
Once mcafee is installed, run a full scan while in safe mode.
You can also try an online virus scan through Trend Micro. It's very effective.

Sounds like your pc is in one hell of a mess. My first suggestion is that you make sure that all of the three antivirus programs you downloaded are 100% removed from your system. Otherwise you are going to have conflict.
1) click, start, run and type: c://program files. click on browse, open program files and look for all three of these antivirus programs. Open and click on delete, if they will not delete and say the program is being used, then you should reboot and try again. Also, you can try and remove as much of the files you can from click start, search, then search for file folders. Type in panda, and run an if files comes up try and remove all you can. Likewise do the same for the other two. If you can remove some fine, Some may say file is in use, so you reboot again.
If all fails, go to www.rosecitysoftware.com And download their Registry First Aid, this is not a free program. And run check for registry errors. After the program scans your entire registry, you can delete all the check marks next to the green & yellow box. Only delete the check marks next to the red boxes if you are an expert in computers. (Actully there will be no probem if the ones marked red are left or you decide to delete as this software makes a backup.
Registry First Aid, is not free, it will let you remove alot of errors or fragments of the three programs before you have to purchase.
I used this program for nine years an it has never removed a registry key in error. Microsoft recommended software.
Don't remove the backup of your registry keys until you know you have our computer running fine.
Removal of backups, you go to start, search, search all files and type in "backups". Your pc will scan your files and you will see RFA backups. Open and delete if you wish
Fragments left behind will cause this kind of conflict. And stay away from Nortons because when you decide to remove Nortons it will leave you atleast 300 fragments attached to all your files and hidden all over your system. You will really play hell getting them out
Now if you want to protect your computer investment I would recommend the antivirus I use. This program is used by the Government of China.
Being a clinical psychiatrist I have a moral and legal obligation to keep my pc 100% clean from all virus/spyware/malware.
I tested every free and purchase antivirus system known. An I found only one that actually works 100%. Never had a virus or spyware in my system in nine years.
Go to, www.filseclab.com and download thier Twister AntiTrojan Virus program. (You will have to pay a small one time fee). You will never have to pay an annual fee for updates, support or new versions. The one time fee is for life. ($29.99).
The software company is located in Beijing, China. They have excellent support, frequent large signature updates an as always all new versions are free. No annual fee for anything.
Comes with a real time scanner that really works. Actually I am quite amazed over the nine years how well it works.
Scans memory on startup.
Real time scanning in the background.
Open any webpage with an embedded trojan/spyware or malware and scanner will clean on the spot. An It is really removed from your system.
Download any kind of program from zips, software files, music, etc, etc, an if there is a hidden embedded trojan, spyware, malware, this program will stop the download and clean. An will advise you to end the download.
Will even find a virus in the installer wizard, like "Wise Installer". And will stop the installation while it is being installed and clean. Plus this program always will trace back who installed the trojan.
I had a trojan in and wizard installer. Twister caught the trojan and stopped the installation. I wrote the origianl company and told them the wizard installer had an embedded trojan to steal your data. The company now uses thier own installer.
You can't beat this software for a one time purchase fee only. Actually I don't know of any antivirus progam that even comes close to this state of the art technology.
All I can say it is worth the one time fee. Your pc cost alot of money and you don't want it destroyed. Plus your privacy is protected at all times.
There is nothing in it for me to praise this program. I tell it like it is. If it is crap then I will say so.
One more thing, after you have used the "Registry First Aid", reboot and try again run type in: c://program files, browse, open program files and then try and remove the files for each one of them. My experience they will remove and not say, being used by other files.

hi, perhaps you can try Norton to remove the virus. but you need to pay for the software.
i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.
besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.
download firefox for free:

You havent been attacked by a virus. You have been attacked by microsoft. They have found illegally obtained software on your pc and they sent a signal to disable it. And that signal is now interfearing with your pc. What you have to do is go and get it reformatted. That is your only hope of getting your pc back to normal. When you get back from getting it reformatted make a back up copy so that this will not happen again.

Sounds like you my have some "malware" or spyware. One of the best tools I've come across (that also happens to be free) is Spybot: Search & Destroy. You can get it here: http://www.safer-networking.org/
Good luck!
