I have tried to get links to financiers or investors who are willing to invest in Nigeria but to no avail. All the links i have tried eventually ask me to register or make a deposit before i could be linked up.

My possition is this,I do not have a dime nor credit card for now because I am pressently unemployed, and it amazes me for someone to ask me for money when I am seeking for loan or finance.

What I want to say is that I have a simple and innovative idea for investment in Nigeria that would be money spinning. Now when you say Nigeria, it stirs reactions as to the various conceptions people have, but i will like to itterate that it is a haven of opprtunity, and the largest market for any bright idea.

What am looking for is a financier or partnership that will like to be on ground so as to understand the nature and potentials of this investment and will be willing to finance.I will explain more with a suitable or potential financier or partner.

Most individuals will tell you to stay away from Nigeria as a place to invest or find individuals to assist you in any type of venture in that country.

As a general rule other countries don't have the same ethical business habits we have developed in the United States. We will do a job and then expect payment. If we are introduced to another person, normally we do not expect to pay someone for that introduction, unless prior arrangements have been made.

Not only in Nigeria, but other areas of the world I find that an introduction to another is reason to believe that some sort of payment is expected, especially in the mid-east and far east.

I also found that patience is another thing you have to have in dealing with other cultures,as they have no consideration of your time and will have you waiting for long periods of time sometimes days before they will even set up an appointment to see you.

I would be extremely careful in seeking and finding a reliable investment partner in that country. If you can make a friend with a Nigerian that is presently in the United States you might have a better level of success, than trying to find someone directly in the country itself.

Some countries require that you register in their country before you are allowed to do business there of which I think Nigeria is one.

I hope you find this of some use to you, good luck.
