It's probably just a phase. She probably just looks up to Marilyn Monroe right now and is emulating her out of respect and for the fact that, in her opinion, Marilyn was a good entertainer. She'll have a new look in a few years.

she is trying to get out of the phase of been "dirty" and marilyn monroe is more class with a hint of dirty about her so she is coming down slowly off it next she will be imitating jessica simpson (olden days)

She pales into comparison to Marilyn,who was naturally beautiful and an icon.Christina is talented and has a great voice but her music is overrated and she is miles away from iconic status.Why she needs to copy someone i don`t know,she should find her own identity.

That girl gets on my nerves. She doesn't have the body type or facial features to imitate anyone from that era. She's just a skanky ho that is trying to put up this facade to make people think that she has class. What an unimaginative, untalented loser. I would rather hear nails on a chalkboard than hear her sing.
