There is a special pin on the brake assemble on my Explorer and I am having trouble getting this back together. Do I need a special tool? Can anyone list the entire brake reassembly in detail for me, or does someone know a web site with DETAILS?

When you bought your new brake pads there should have been new pins with the shoes. You need to make sure your holes are all aligned and just hammer them in. I used either a C-clamp or a welds large vise grip to push the plunger into the cylinder. It makes it easier to fit the pads over the rotor. You can also open the bleeder some and press the plunger in. As long as everything is aligned all you should need is a hammer to get the pins in. The brake pads need to fit just so on the caliper.

Buy a Chiltons or Haynes manual at any auto parts store, or look for them on the web.
