Man i am, i think its about time to crank out some Burl Ives or Bing Crosby and get this party started. Me and my wife are moving in a month and are already discussing how we are going to decorate the house for Christmas, with the lights, light-up Santa, nativity scene, tree, etc. I grew up loving Christmas as as great holiday, not jsut because it celebrates the coming of God as a man, but just because there is no happier time of the year. Thanks you so much for that question, i really appreciate your enthusiasm toward Christmas,
Matt

I am without a doubt 100% with JuJu here. The whole season gets me a wound up. Everyday is like a magical whirlwind in my head. I can not get enough. I have to read Christmas books, see Christmas shows, movies, sings carols and Christmas songs, color Christmas pictures with my son, go out and look for houses with Christmas decorations. I have to work on Christmas Eve in retail, but I get the biggest kick out of the dads and the kids shopping for mom. It is so cute.
The only thing I am not looking forward too is wrapping presents. That gets me frustrated.

This is my very favorite season, I start decorating before Thanksgiving and leave my things out till after New Year. I love going around different neighborhood's an looking at all the decorations, also love to go to zoo's that have the ice skating rinks and lots of decorations. I also enjoy visiting nursing homes, VA hospital , with little home made gifts, it gives you a very warm feeling to see these people's faces. Then to top it off, visiting a church on Christmas Eve. We always pick out a needy family, and help them in anyway we can to make their holidays better.

I'm also excited I love the rush I get from picking out that special gift that just might make someones day. I love the way kids are happy even if only for that one day.I love that my birthday is in the same month and that I share such a joyous occasion.

Absolutely dootley!
Even better than Christmas is the whole of advent...24 days of Christmas excitment and build up.
Christmas Eve is a fantastic day (once the veg is done).
Even more exciting since I had children.

let me see...
am i excited about the amount of money it's going to cost? that would be no.
am i excited about the crazed people in the shops buying up everything in sight and shoving everyone else out of the way? no
am I excited about the traditional family meal where half the family has fallen out with the other half and everyone is refusing to talk to everyone else? no
Overall I think it is safe to say I am not excited about Christmas and the only way I'm going to enjoy it is to get pissed every night!

I always get excited at Christmas. Its a great time of year to spend time with your family, eat lots of food, drink, get presents and have a good time. It would be even better if it snowed, not that it does anymore where I live in England.

I am soooo excited!! My husband laughs at me, because I start getting excited so early, but I can't help it. I have already gotten over half of my Christmas shopping done and I am already trying to decide how to decorate the house and our 2 trees (I usually start decorating the day after Thanksgiving). I am glad I am not the only one who starts the countdown this early! :)

I can't wait! Even a few stores here have Christmas stuff out already! Christmas is so much fun! especially when you have 2 little kids who think its great! getting up a little early Christmas morning and seeing their face as the come out of their room and seeing what "Santa" brought them! opening up the presents, having a big breakfast with cocoa, pancakes, bacon, sausage, waffles, omelettes (I know, we have a HUGE breakfast christmas day...then a huge diner) I can't wait....almost done shopping too....can you believe that?
