The only way to really get "Free" music is through peer-to-peer networks, BUT there is a new service coming out this December that will allow you to get free music with advertisements. This will be free and legal, go to: http://www.spiralfrog.com/

You mean free and illegal? The only site where you can legally download music for free will be either bands you have never heard of or from the individual artists web site...
You could try entering this in a google web search (this only works with google...)

At no point do I ever condone download music illegally but Bearshare is meant to be good for finding music files. I believe there is music files on this software.

Bearshare is excellent - 100% free and very easy to use, even for people who are crap at computers like me.
