Ian Huntley killed 2 7 year old kids

2006-09-05 03:33:51 · answer #1 · answered by Hitman 4 · 0 3

Suicide for Huntly is an easy way out from suffering the torment and nightmares that he tortured and killed two 7 year old girls.... anyone can see that, even him I expect.
But on the other hand, if you do believe in God and Heaven/Hell then the suffering, torments and nightmares will live on in his devilish soul in Hell.
I am not of any religion (if any, CofE). I can understand people not wanting to pay for him to live on because of the evil he has done, but in the same way he is suffering and paying (in some sort of way) for what he has done.
I don't think there is ANY justice for what he has done, but look at those who have been in prison for years on end, and will be until they die - what happened to life sentencing here in the UK? If he was the USA he will have 2 life sentences on his head, and possibly in other countries sentenced to death and have to be hanged for his 'wrong' doing.
I think the law has to sort out its' priorities because a lot has changed in the last 30 years or so (I know from what my mum says about past famous convicts) and obviously people doing bad things like what Huntly did surely should be sentenced for life - for taking somebody else's life!!!
You see people now getting longer sentences for stealing or 'happy slapping'.. things which - yes are wrong - but don't deserve to be rated alike to killing? Or maybe the other way around ... killing should not be compared to GBH etc.
Even if people are sentenced and they have 'improved' or had 'very good behaviuor' behind bars, they get let out early!!!!! It's certainly wrong, I can say that for sure!

I not long ago lost a little girl, my wife gave birth and our little one was still born. We were devasted, but as time goes on your learn to cope. However those little girls lives were snubbed out like a discarded ciggie, how the parents have coped I don't know, what I do know is that a nice cosey cell where he is protected 24 hours a day, fed, given tv to watch, books to read is not the answer, he is living a life he does not deserve.

Whether he lives or die's won't bring those two little girls back, ,y thoughts on the subject - I don't give a damn about Huntley, however I hope those kids have eternal life in a better place than this!

You should rephrase your Q as some people seem to be getting wrong end of stick. I take it you mean his attempt of suicide.

Well many people would be happy to see him dead for murdering 2 young girls. (for those who don't know)

others would say that if he is dead then he has got the easy way out. He has got the air to breath and the poor girls have not.
But if he is dead then he has escaped punishment.

The way I see it, If he has tried to kill himself at least twice now then obviously he is having a hard time in prison and hates it (which is good) so keep him alive and let him suffer for the rest of his life in prison.

No. He deserves to serve a lifetime of pain and suffering in prison, just like he has given Holly & Jessicas families a lifetime of the same. To die would be the easy way out. I hope his life is made a living hell in prison.

No, I am glad he did'nt suceed, if he did he would be escaping a life in prison, if he did commit suicide he's just taking the easy way out, let the evil git rot it hell , I wish he was in one of those tough prisons in America, not the namby pamby soft ones in the UK where they get to watch TV and play pool etc.

They should let Huntley out into the general prison population, and let them give him a good kicking every day. Let him feel what pain's like. (They don't take too kindly to child murderers and paedophiles.)

They should also retry Maxine Carr or whatever name they've given her now. She knew more than she was letting on.

No he shouldn't but he should be given the means to keep trying and failing. The thing should live long and suffer every day of his life.

I think people like that should be tied up in a room with the familys of the people they have hurt and let them do what they want! an eye for an eye!

No keep him alive and make him suffer just like the families of the little girls. Why should he get the easy way out
