The people who are saying ps3 is better or wii is better don't even know what they are talking about. They have never seen real game fotage, " unless they were at E32006" or know all the specs of ALL THREE CONSOLES not one folks ALL THREE. Sony fans just concentrate on the ps3 and don't take the time to research the others.
Bottom line, i think that many people who give opinions about ps3 and wii don't know squat. What do you think?

How dont we know squat. The specs Game Informer had a listing of them all in the issue released after E3. The games I have seen the E3 footage which I know were not complete games, which I took into account, I put a video of PS3 and 360 side by side(cant do that with Wii, because they arent going for blow your mind graphics they are going for blow your mind game play) And I took into account that maybe one vid was at lower rez vs the other at higher rez and I must say by graphics standards that the ps3 had to be a little bit better. But take into account the facts that we do know.
1. PS3 is going to be at a higher price point, latest rumors have it @ $150 more than 360. So I can get a PS3 or I can get a 360 and save up another $100 and get a Wii too.
2. PS3 is saying they are pushing release back. So I have to wait an extra 4 months to spend an extra $150
3. Wii isnt saying they are going to blow my mind away with graphics, they want to revolutionize the way people play games, I think that will give them a better fan base. I couldnt tell you how many times I wanted to jump into zelda and swing the sword or (crossing my fingers) jump into Star Wars and have control of the light saber (I hope you are listening Nintendo and Georgie boy)
4. Microsoft is still the king of online play. It is easy to get on Xbox Live and just get going. Simply do a search of PS2 and online look at how many questions come up on here that ask "how can i connect my PS2 to the internet"
5. Not yet a fact just a rumor, but what they hey.....PS3 is rumored to have rewritable games, your PS3 will put a code onto your disc and you can never use it on another PS3 after that.
Myself I will buying a 360 and a Wii. I am a little pissed at Sony about the price point. Sorry but dont gouge me when I can go buy a 360 and 3 games for the price of one PS3.

My friend works for Sony as a project manager and he has a PS3 test unit in his home. I HAVE some of the release games in action on a PS3 and I CAN say that is fcuking awsome! I have also seen the 360 in action (obviously) and I have to say it is very good. But you (and pretty much everyone else) will agree when you get to see it, that it is just a little better all round. It's certainly faster and the colours are outstanding.
I think the bottom line will be: The PS3 is 'better', BUT the price may turn some people off. It will after all be more expensive than the 360 and although it's better, is it $150 better? The price of game swill be the key
wii - I know nothing of this, nor do I want to. I'm not 12

It called Brand Loyalty. What ever a person is into is what they'll wave the flag for. PS2 die-hards will be saying that the PS3 is the best. Even after it comes out, whether it is or not. Same with Nintendo fans and the Wii. I own an Xbox 360 and I plan to get a Wii when it finally comes out. But Sony doesn't have any proprietary games that I like so I won't be buying a PS3. But I won't bash it as a console just because I'm not a PS fan. I'm sure it's a fine piece of equipment.

Listen to me man. The Nintendo booth at E3 and GC were so packed that people could not get in until some people leave!!! The PS and Xbox was bassically empty in those vents!!!!!!!
Everyone is getting a Wii for many reasons:
1: best backward compatability in a system so far. Download nes, Snes, n64, genesis, and Turbo grafx!
2:Revolutionizes gaming because of the controller. You can live your games!
3: Wonderful games like the long anticipated Zelda Twilight Princess, Metroid prime 3: Corruption, mario Galaxy, Super Smash bros. brawl.
4: The Wii-mote is your pointer when you go on the internet. I saw a picture of a guy going on iGN.com with the Wii.
5: It's for young kids to old people.( yes it has violent games for teens)
6: Colorful graphics
7: Watch Dvds with your Wii.
8: Nintnedo did not lie about any detail about the Wii like Sony did with the Blu ray on ps3. meh! Screw Ps3 to hell.
9: 10 times more features and quality things than Ps3 has and all for a smaller price(good greif)
10: nintendo will send you some suprises because you are connected to them even if your wii is off!!!
Nintendo wii is what we all love!!!!!!!!!! im getting it!!!!!!!!!

People who go for the PS3 look at the apps and Blue-ray and assume that it is better than everything else. And because they had a PS2 so they want to support Sony even if the system turns out to suck or it may be good don't know yet.
And people who for the Wii like the idea of the wii mote and purchasing past Nintendo games.

i don't know. but ps3 is definitley a lot lot lot better than xbox 360
