There is no excuse Bill only babble from the Republicans to this issue. George Bush is responsible for all of the failures up to date. The Republicans flexed there muscles and lost, ran their big mouths and now cry it's every ones fault like the juvenile children they are. They are all in denial of their own policies.

Bill Clinton fell into a cushioned position that was brought in by the Regan reform. So all he had to do was look good,, but if you take a good look at the Arkansas and how it went into the toilet while they were there you gotta thank your lucky stars America had a soft place to land thanks to Ron Regan,, look at the United States when he was president we had more cut back in the military than ever , and conveniently got hit with a military crisis the moment he was gone , so there could be a good reason why he can be blamed , he didnt run the country he spent , Hillary traveled more than any first woman in the house , the possition the cuts Regan took allowed it and that reform is gone . when you look benith a highly polished gloss your going to find the surface is rough rocky and not very attractive

Why do liberals ignore Clinton's lack of leadership and action that led to 9-11 while he was president? Oh yeah because they think it's okay for a sitting president to screw interns and then lie to a Federal Grand Jury and to the people on live TV as long as he only blows up an aspirin factory in response to our being attacked. Oh and they love a good tax hike and a federal law suit to try aand ruin a major American Corporation that causes the tech stock market to crash because they feel it isn't fair that Microsoft should be a world leader in the software business because it's an American company and because most people prefer their product instead of another. But well it's all Bush's fault isn't it. My God employment it at the same rate as when Clinton was in office but it's called a bad economy now and was called a great one then How is that possible? Open you eyes for a moment and drop the liberal hero worship of Clinton and read some history. And why has Bush failed to lead. just because you fail to follow because he is A Republican?

People seem to forget that during Clinton's time in office, the WTC was bombed (1993) and he did nothing about it. A US Navy ship was bombed by a suicide bomber and 17 crewmen died (2000), Clinton did nothing. US Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania were bombed and over 200 people died (1998), Clinton did nothing. Saudi Arabia knew what a lunatic Bin Laden was and did't want to be tied to him (His family was there), so they offered him up to Clinton (it has been proven that Bin Laden was behind many attacks on Americans around the world), but Clinton did nothing. President Clinton raised taxes higher than any other president in the history of the nation, which in part, caused a huge recession on our economy at the end of his term. President Bush inherited a fiasco: fiscal, economic, social, foreign relations, you name it, it was screwed up by Clinton. If President Clinton had concentrated more on building a better nation, protecting us from outside terrorists and working with other nations to improve humankind instead of worrying about his interns, et. al., the US would be a much better place today, in all aspects.

I realize that Bill Clinton is a democratic icon, but to state that Republicans are uneducated or have a problem with alcohol is a bit of a reach. It is possible that we just don't think that Clinton was quite as great as he is made out to be. The man is still searching for a legacy. Personally I don't think President Bush has failed his country, I think his country has failed him!!!!

Hehe- they probably blame global warming on Clinton, too. Oh right, since global warming isn't business-friendly, it's probably some invention of the media and doesn't really exist. Riiiiight.
At least Clinton was competent, his oval-orifice escapades were media fodder, but he did the job. The economy was rolling along nicely during the Clinton years, we had a budget surplus, and at least we had some credibility as a somewhat impartial broker in the middle east. Now we have record deficits, 2 wars to finance, no credibility in the international community, more Americans are buried in debt, wages are stagnant and those tax cuts didn't make much of a difference, now did they? Thanks for the $200, George..

I forgot who but I do remember some President leaving two letter to his successor which were to be opened in "EMERGENCY SITUATIONS". The first letter read, blame what ever problem you have on me, it doesn't matter as I'm no longer the President and you are. It's the last sacrifice a President can make for his country. The 2nd letter when opened said something along the lines of this time you really ****** up and no one can help you but yourself.
If Bush got these letters, I'm positive open the first one and he either misplaced the second one and never opened it because he's taking the advice from the first one too far.

Yes. They are arguing that Clinton missed an opportunity to kill Osama bin Laden in 1997. Also, Clinton left the economy in bad shape, it was in recession at the end of Clinton's term. Americans will hear much more about the failures of Clinton as the election season goes on. The RNC has a the schedule for rolling out their new lies, just as companies schedule the introduction of new products.

Maybe this will answer your questions about why Republicans see the Democrats the way they do ....
"A woman in a hot air balloon realized she was lost. She lowered
her altitude and spotted a man in a boat below. She shouted to him, "Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago, but I don't know where I am."
The man consulted his portable GPS and replied, "You're in a hot air balloon, approximately 30 feet above a ground elevation of 2,346 feet above sea level. You are at 31 degrees, 14.97 minutes north latitude and 100 degrees, 49.09 minutes west longitude.
She rolled her eyes and said, "You must be a Republican."
"I am," replied the man. "How did you know?" "Well," answered the balloonist, "everything you told me is technically correct, but I have no idea what to do with your information, and I'm still lost. Frankly, you've not been much help to me."
The man smiled and responded, "You must be a Democrat."
"I am," replied the balloonist. "How did you know?"
"Well," said the man, "you don't know where you are or where you're going. You've risen to where you are, due to a large quantity of hot air. You made a promise that you have no idea how to keep, and you expect me to solve your problem. You're in exactly the same position you were in before we met, but, somehow, now it's my fault."

If you take over a position in a new job, and the prior employee ruined the workflow system, messed up the budget books, etc... Are you then to blame for what the prior employee did?? You may be responsible for fixing the mess that was left, but you are not to blame for what the previous person did.
