I stand for all those who have lost all hope.

10 years ago I would've never guessed I'd be here. My honest guess would've been closer to death. But after finding my faith and holding on to alittle trust in the Lord, today I have a beautiful wife, 2 beautiful little girls, a wonderful home, and my own architectural business. Hold on those who are losing some faith. Good things can happen to you.

I was physically abused by my big brother for over 10 years. He was 3 years older and about 30lbs heavier than me. For some odd reason, he took pleasure in inflicting pain on me and my sister. He would punch us hard enough to leave bruises. He would sock us in the stomach. He would hold us down, sitting on top of us, and slowly spit in our face. One time he forced my sister to drink half a gallon of water, then did a kind of heimlich maneuver on her to make her throw it back up.

My brother would always lie to my parents and say that I 'started it'. My parents never could restrain him. They passed it off as 'the kids are fighting' and would actually then punish me for it, because it stressed them out.

30 years later, after 2 years of psychoanalysis, I learned that what I experienced as a child had devastating affects on my psyche, and let to very self-destructive tendencies as an adult. Now that I understand that what happened to me was wrong, I have told my family that I don't want to see them unless I am treated with respect. They haven't responded.

I guess this is my 'cross to bear'. I will always remember that my sibling could have cared less about me and that my parents never cared enough to do anything about it.

However, it is in the past, I feel no guilt about not seeing my family and am starting a new life.

I'm really mean to my big Sister who is like a mother to me. And she will go to the end of the earth for me. But there is a catch. She's a confused "religious" type always trying to convert.

She gets all my negative energy so everyone else can get the positive stuff.

Some of the questions and answers on this site. I try to avoid the braindead ones, and just answer the ones that actually have some kind of meaning.

Oh, not something I can unleash here. Only I and God know the answer to that one. Although some of my friends might be able to take a guess at it.
