Can you do ice skating and beach volley ball and stuff when you are 'up on blocks' for the week?

No those adverts are full of cr*p this is what I do:
1. eat loads of chocolate
2. Prepare a hot water bottle
3. Take loads of pain killers
4. whinge to a female friend how being a woman sucks

Probably but i'm more worried about the most recent adverts telling us we can get scented tampons, Why? Why would you need a scented Tampon how many people would comment on that one?

Oh yes... and don't forget we all dig out our best underwear and white trousers and take huge strides tossing our hair from side to side... we leap over the doors into our convertible beetles, looking so very pleased with ourselves... big grins on our faces which are congratulating each other on how clever us girls really are....
And if you believe that... you will believe anything!

yep can do all of the above, but it isn't just the tampax that help me achieve this, it is the little white pills that the doctor gave me that give it the edge

I can't even do housework during that time of the month! Oh, wait a sec, I can't do housework anyway....so....well I guess I don't know :/
