2) LAVA!!!!! the scientists are correct. the earth is filled with molten rock now spewing forth from the dougnut hole you just drilled through the earth. you've turned the earth into a fire spitting doughnut. great job. everyone sings "it's getting hot in here, so take off... AAAAGHARHARHHAR" as they burn up.
3) I'M right. the earth is filled with yummy candy and little green plastic soldiers. the abundance of yummy candy ends world hunger and everyone hails you as the harbringer of world peace. start drilling man.

we can't drill earth because inside earth there is hot lava is there which is at in above 2000 degree celsius
and if we drill along the other side and if we throw something it will reach other side after 24 hours if we didn't catch that again it will fall to old place it will act like pendulam

good question...i think it shud be fun seeing u do that send me a recording if possible...but yeah on a serious note...when u hole infinitely u shud come out from the other side o' earth but the point is how u do that or may be if its some real cool machine wich can do it then will the person operating it wont be too dizzy to live or wont he die o' heat...but neways...new thing to think of///finally some food for brain at yahoo answers!!

First you should build that drilling tool that can resist such temperature before ever thinking of what would be the consequences of drilling that hole, which is not such an easy task :)

the deeper you drill the pressure increases manifold.after certain distance no tool will drill because the pressure will destroy the tool to thousand pieces.you cannot drill beyond a certain depth.

its just impossble to such an act.the earth core is very very very hot and u would not reach the other side in ur present form.
